Already since 1992, Albert Heijn has a leading role in the development of Self Scanning. Self-Scanning offers the customer and the retailer an additional information platform in the shop. It also offers the customer convenience at the checkout. Nowadays AH has more than 100 stores with Self-Scanning. The past few years finishing dutch designed a variety off Self-Scanning furniture for Albert Heijn.
